FALL 2026 FLAG FOOTBALL INFORMATION
Coaches Needed for Alma PAL Flag Football!
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach in our flag football league! Whether you’re a seasoned coach or new to the sport, we welcome you. No prior experience is required, but some basic knowledge of the game will be helpful for head coaches. Here's what we need:
- Head Coach and Assistant Coach for each team (1st-3rd grade)
- 8 volunteers for PreK/K to help with stations (no experience needed)
Total Coaches Needed: 16
Coaching is a fun and easy way to get involved. Each team will have a quick 15-minute practice before their games on Monday nights. We’ll provide the plays, so you can focus on organizing the team and keeping them engaged. Grab a friend and sign up together!

§ Alma PAL Flag Football is open to Alma and St. Mary's students only.
§ Depending on coach, teams usually practice right before their games. Pre/K has no practice, just show up on game day!
§ 1st - 3rd Cost is $40 plus a $3 transaction fee.
§ PreK - K Cost is $30 plus a $3 transaction fee
§ Registration Ends August 14th
§ Located at Alma High School Practice Stadium
1st – 3rd PAL Football Skills Night and Draft Pre-Season (1hour)

- Coaches draft immediately afterward
- Players and Coaches will get a shirt to keep
Flag Football League Dates (All Levels)
Sep. 8, 14 , 21, 28, Oct. 5 From 6-7pm (In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather games will not be made up)
Equipment Needs: For dress, just wear t-shirts and athletic shorts (without pockets) and tennis shoes are fine. Cleats (not metal!), gloves and mouth guards and optional but not necessary.

Homecoming Week: Planning on attendance in the parade on a trailer (only 1st-3rd)
LEAGUE IS OPEN TO ALMA AND ST. MARY'S STUDENTS ONLY.
