2023 Basketball Information
Alma PAL Basketball offers a wide variety of opportunities to help individuals develop the basic fundamentals of the sport. Our goal is to help players grow that are looking to improve at the basic skill level and to challenge those players that are looking to improve at the advanced skill level. This goal is accomplished in a fun, positive atmosphere through a variety of programs offered.
Panther League: 3rd-6th Grade
Registration: October 19 - November 11th
Please join us for our Panther League on Saturdays! This league is set for all levels of experience. Please dress in athletic attire, bring water, and we would appreciate non-marking sneakers. If you are going to participate in CMYBL, Morey Court League, or any other travel program we may offer, you must participate in Alma PAL Panther League.
Cost: 45$ and includes a t-shirt. We offer a payment plan option and Scholarship opportunities. Please email [email protected] for more information regarding a Scholarship.
Location: Donald L. Pavlik Middle School
November 11, 18 & December 2, 9, 16
Time: 5th-6th Grade 8:00AM - 10:00 AM and 3rd-4th Grade 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Morey Court League: November 1st - December 8th, Deadline is November 1st
Registration: October 12, 2023 - November 1, 2023
Alma PAL will build teams for 4th-8th Grades. Morey Courts League is in November - December. Fees are $600 per team (divided based on the number of participants per roster). Teams will play a total of 10 games, 2 per night, the game schedule and practice schedule are still in the works. All 4th-6th graders must participate in Panther League in order to play in Morey Court. More information will follow.
7th and 8th Graders interested in participating in Morey Court League MUST have a physical turned in to the Alma Middle School (DLPMS) before participation. Coaches, Administrators, or Volunteers can not accept physical forms.
CMYBL Travel Basketball League: 4th - 6th
Registration: October 19th - Deadline December 16th
Central Michigan Youth Basketball League is a traveling basketball league that travels throughout Mid-Michigan.
6th-4th Grade, MUST be an Alma student and MUST have participated in Panther League.
Season Starts January through March, 8 consecutive weeks, teams will play double headers
Teams will play back-to-back games each weekend
50$ registration fee, payment plan is an option

***All 7th and 8th Grade Participants are required to have a completed Athletic Physical turned in to the Middle School Main before participating in any league. ADMINISTRATOR OR COACHES CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT FORMS. THEY MUST BE TURNED IN AND APPROVED BY THE MAIN OFFICE PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION (form can be picked up in MS Main office)***
