2024 Basketball Information
Alma PAL Basketball offers a wide variety of opportunities to help individuals develop the basic fundamentals of the sport. Our goal is to help players grow that are looking to improve at the basic skill level and to challenge those players that are looking to improve at the advanced skill level. This goal is accomplished in a fun, positive atmosphere through a variety of programs offered.
Programs Offered Include:
3rd-6th Grade Panther League (Nov-Dec) - $45
4th-8th Grade Morey Courts League (Nov-Dec) - Fee is determined by the number of players on the team
4th-6th Grade CMYBA - Central Michigan Youth Basketball Association (Jan-March) - League fee is $50

All registrations are subject to a $3 Service Fee
Alma PAL Panther League is a recreational basketball program where fundamentals are taught and competitive games played.
Boys 3rd-6th will take place at Alma Middle School and Girls 3rd-6th will take place at Alma High School .
PLEASE NOTE: Your player MUST participate in Panther League if they plan to participate in Morey Courts or CMYBA (travel basketball).
Cost:
$45, (plus $3) service fee (t-shirt included)
Attire:
Gym shoes, t-shirt, gym shorts. When the weather is wet it is advised to bring a change of shoes as to avoid getting the gym floor wet.

November 9th, 16th and 23rd
December 7th and 14th
Times:
5th-6th Grade Boys: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
3rd-4th Grade Boys: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
During this registration you will also be asked if your child would like to participate in CMYBA
*Central Michigan Youth Basketball Association is a traveling basketball league that travels throughout Mid-Michigan.
*4th-6th Grade Boys and Girls
* Season starts January and ends in March, 8 consecutive Saturdays or Sundays depending on the team
*You must be an Alma Public School Student to be considered and have participated in Panther League
*$50 Registration Fee
The boys CMYBA uniforms are purchased by PAL on a 2 year cycle and each participant is able to keep that uniform. If you start playing at the start of a cycle your uniform will be good for 2 years and you will still be required to pay the $50 fee each year, however, if you begin CMYBA in year 2 of the cycle you will receive a new uniform 2 years in a row while paying the $50 fee each year. Teams will also receive shooting shirts that are not provided by PAL. The player's parents will be responsible for the cost of the shooting shirt which is usually on average approximately $25 +/-

return to the PAL office located in the Alma Middle School prior to the season beginning.

***All 7th and 8th Grade Participants are required to have a completed Athletic Physical turned into
the Middle School Main Office before participating in any league.
ADMINISTRATOR OR COACHES CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT FORMS.
THEY MUST BE TURNED IN AND APPROVED BY THE MAIN OFFICE PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION
