Where do I register?
Online at southmarplelittleleague.org
All NEW PLAYERS (except for players 4-7) must provide proof of residency or attendance at a school (Loomis, Paxon Hollow, St. Pius and St. Francis) within our boundaries. New players who register but do not meet the boundary requirements will not be permitted to play and will have their registration fee refunded (minus the $3 collected by the site provider).
Can I register after the registration date closes?
Yes, you can register after registration closes but there is a $25 fee.
Can I get a refund after I register?
Yes, we can issue a refund up until teams have been drafted. Once teams have been drafted we do not issue refunds.
What does the registration fee include?
Registration fees go toward league charter and insurance, field maintenance, equipment, uniforms, and each player gets a snack ($2 or less) after every game.
Why is there an additional fee for softball 10U and 12U DelVal teams?
There is an additional fee per player to cover the DelVal Softball league fees, insurance charges, and custom jersey.
Can my daughter play softball with SMLL if my local little leagues doesn't offer it?
YES! Your daughter can play with SMLL if your local league doesn't offer softball.
When does the season begin?
Typically, practices start in the middle of March (weather permitting) with games beginning around the last week of March/first week of April.
How long does the season run?
The season usually finishes up in early June.
Can I request a teammate?
Tee Ball- Teammate requests will be honored within reason; requests for full teams or large groups won't be guaranteed.
All other baseball and softball divisions- Teammate requests will be considered but are not guaranteed as maintaining balanced teams is a priority.
Siblings- Are automatically placed on the same team unless families request otherwise.
