Machine Pitch
- League Age 6 to 8 years old. Use the Little League Age Charts to find your child’s year of birth.
- This division introduces hitting a ball pitched from a machine. A machine is used to ensure the balls are thrown straight and at a consistent speed.
- This is a non-competitive division. Scores and standings are not kept.
- The role of the coaches is to develop basic baseball skills and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
- This is about player safety and making the game fun.
- Each team will have no more than 12 players.
Schedule
- Spring season games are played twice per week - games could be played any day of the week except for Sunday.
- Games are played on our Arbutus MS fields.
Player's Equipment
- Spring season, all players are given a team shirt, pants, and a baseball hat.
- Cleats (plastic) are strongly recommended.
- Players must provide their own glove and helmet. The league will provide bats, players may also use their own.

Game Rules
- Each game is 1 1/2 hours or 6 innings, hard stop at 2 hours.
BEFORE and AFTER each GAME
- Players should arrive at the field 30 minutes prior to their game to warm-up.
- Players must clean their dugout at the conclusion of each game and practice.
