Warrington-Warwick Softball Organization (WWSO)
Warrington Warwick Softball Organization (WWSO) provides girls ages 4 to 18 with the opportunity to play in our recreational softball program. As a Little League-affiliated organization (PA District 30 Section 6), WWSO is structured into five divisions based on age.
The league season runs from early April to mid-June. Practice schedules are determined by each coach, typically occurring once a week. Games are played Monday through Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Games may take place at Barness Park.

Instructional: 10" RIF Soft Dot Level 1
Low Minors: 11" RIF Level 1
Minors: 11" Regulation Ball (core .47, comp. 375)
Majors: 12" Regulation Ball (core .47, comp. 375)
Seniors: 12" Regulation Ball (core .47, comp. 375)
Required Player Equipment
Each player must have at minimum:
A properly fitted softball glove
Cleats (softball cleats preferred)
Face Cage
Helmet with cage
League schedules are posted once divisions and teams are finalized. Team selection for younger divisions and drafts for older divisions take place in mid March, after which coaches will contact players and begin practices. Practice schedules are at the discretion of each coach.
Additional Opportunities
Following the regular season, WWSO offers Little League Softball tournament play, which extends through July.
For players interested in a more competitive environment, WWSO offers Blue Thunder, our travel softball program for ages 9-18. Tryouts typically occur in late August or early September. Blue Thunder participates in fastpitch tournaments under USSSA and USA Softball formats. The travel season runs from September through the following July.
