YMCA Youth Soccer is an inclusive and exciting sport that combines team play and individual skills. Every child, regardless of their skill level, is welcomed and valued in our program. While the game's basic skills are developed through practice and games, every child learns sportsmanship and values necessary for success in life. Boys and girls in preschool ages 3 through 6th grade are welcome to play!
There is a maximum of 12 players per co-ed team. Teams will practice once or twice a week and play games on Saturdays at the YMCA Eoff Sports Complex. The volunteer coach determines practice days, times, and locations at the coach's workshop.
We recommended that all participants purchase shin guards and wear them at all times for safety.
Your registration fee is an investment in your child's soccer journey. It will cover your child's MLS Go uniform for the season, which will include one jersey, shorts, and socks. The season will last six games.
YMCA Youth Sports programs promote healthy kids, families, and communities by prioritizing family involvement, healthy competition, the value of participation over winning, and team building.
Parents are encouraged to be more than spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents and being their kids' number-one fans.
