Travel Baseball & Softball Instructional Services
November 2026 – May 2027
The North Buffalo Baseball and Softball League (NBBS) is seeking proposals from qualified independent contractors or training organizations to provide instructional services for its travel baseball and softball program.
Instruction will serve approximately 35 travel teams (about 420 players)and will take place at the Thomas M. Smith Athletic Center located at Shoshone Park in North Buffalo.
The selected contractor will be responsible for planning, staffing, and delivering a comprehensive offseason training program for players of varying ages and skill levels.
Scope of Services
The selected contractor will be expected to:
Provide training and instruction to approximately35 travel baseball and softball teams, totaling roughly 420 players
Deliverage-appropriate and skill-based instructionfor both baseball and softball players
Develop and implementweekly lesson planstailored to the developmental level of each age group
Provide a written training curriculum covering:
Coordinate scheduling and instruction across multiple teams and divisions
Proposal Requirements
All proposals must include the following:
1. Instructional Plan
A detailedwritten lesson plan or curriculumcovering the 25-week training period
Explanation of instructional approach and skill development focus
Breakdown of how instruction will vary byage group, skill level, and sport
2. Staffing Plan
Proposednumber of instructors and staff members
Staff roles and responsibilities
Relevant experience and qualifications
3. Session Itinerary
4. Player Scheduling Plan
5. Cost Proposal
Facilities & Space Provided
NBBS will provide access to the following training space at theThomas M. Smith Athletic Center:
Proposals should incorporate this space into the training plan.
Equipment
All equipment available at theThomas M. Smith Athletic Centerwill be made available to the selected contractor.
