SPRING 2025 INFORMATION

Registration for DSA’s Spring, 2025 Rec season opens December 1^st and ends on Wednesday, January 15^th.  DSA Rec Soccer is for kids ages 3 through 8^th grade and the 2025 Spring season runs from April 7^th through May 17^th.  Register NOW to assure placement because registrations are processed on a first come – first serve basis. 

For parents of a 3 year old:  If your child is 3 years old by March 1, 2025…AND is potty-trained…then you can register your child for DSA Rec soccer in the PS/PK league.  

For all parents:  Teams are single sex teams; leagues are divided by grade: PS/PK….K…1^st/2^nd…3^rd/4^th….5^th/6^th….7^th/8^th.

To register your child(ren), go to www.dyaasoccer.org...click on the red/black logo Delaware Recreational Soccer Club…follow the link for Player Registration.  If you haven’t already done so, you will need to set up an account and add each player…then you’ll be able to register for the spring, 2025 season. 

If you can be the HEAD COACH of your son’s or daughter’s team, you should register your child(ren) on-line using the HEAD COACH link so your registration fee can be waived (you still purchase the player’s jersey).  The HEAD COACH prepares, coordinates and runs practices and games; communicates practice and game schedules; conducts parent/player meetings as appropriate, etc.  

If you can be a CO-HEAD COACH of your son’s or daughter’s team, you should register your child(ren) on-line using the CO-HEAD COACH link so your registration fee can be waived.  The CO-HEAD COACH serves with another co-head coach, sharing the Head Coaching duties described above (typically, you will be paired up with one other Co-Head Coach).  One-half of your child’s registration fee is waived since duties are shared (you still purchase the player’s jersey). 

A few reminders for everyone:

1)     If your child(ren) played in the DSA Fall, 2024 Rec Season, he/she will be placed on that same team for the spring (thus no need to purchase a jersey unless the player has outgrown his/her fall-team jersey).  When you register on-line, you must indicate the Coach’s Name from the Fall, 2024 Season…or the Color of the Player’s Uniform from the Fall, 2024 Season…or the Team Name from the fall, 2024 season.

2)     DSA is not able to accept special requests for a player to be placed on a specific team or paired up with another player, etc…unless the other player is a sibling or cousin. If the player has a sibling or cousin of the same sex who would be playing on the same age/grade-level team, then the sibling/cousin will be placed on the same team if registered separately and on time.
