Supporting Dallas Youth Basketball (DYB)
Established in the 1970’s, Dallas Youth Basketball (DYB) has been a keystone in the Back Mountain community providing boys and girls in the 1st through 8th grades, who live in the Dallas School District, the opportunity to play recreational basketball. Our mission has always been to provide an environment that is SAFE, FUN and POSITIVE, which is supported by GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP for youth to learn the game of basketball. Our program serves 350 to 400 children per year.

Dallas Youth Basketball (DYB) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization operated 100% by volunteers. Our commitment is that the cost of registration WILL NEVER be an obstacle for any child who wants to participate in our organization. Your generous support will help us to continue to offer high quality, affordable basketball programs while instilling and teaching important values of respect, teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship in our players.

3. Community Inclusion / Program Expansion:
DYB CHALLENGER LEAGUE: Established in 2024. This league is specifically for children with intellectual and/or physical challenges in grades K through 8. Registration costs are provided at a greatly reduced fee. DYB and our dedicated volunteers provide the only local recreational basketball league for this population.
1st/ 2nd GRADE DIVISION: Established in 2025. This league is designed for the youngest players at any skill level. League focus is on skill development and fun!
4. Tax-Deductible Contribution: As a non-profit organization, sponsorship donations may be tax-deductible.
5. Recognition Opportunities: Sponsors are highlighted and promoted through team jerseys, signs / banners, social
media communications / promotions and other special acknowledgments throughout our season.
