The Minnesota Rush Board of Director, Staff Members and Volunteers would like to WELCOME everyone from Albert Lea! We are excited to have the players of Albert Lea Youth Soccer Association become part of the Minnesota Rush Family. As we go down the path of working together, I am sure there will be excitement along with apprehension. The number one point of the merger is to grow soccer locally in the Albert Lea area and to grow soccer regionally. We at MN Rush are confident we can help players, coaches, and families in the Albert Lea area.
Our goal is to keep the “local” feel for families but also provide resources and opportunities to all the players by being part of a larger organization. With its origins in Colorado, Rush Soccer is an international sports organization focused on the development of soccer players.

Specifically, here are some bullet points in what we hope to accomplish in the next few months with the Albert Lea area:
- Offer for the 1st time a Winter Futsal program with Professional Tetra Brazil Coaches at a low price
- Manage and grow the recreational program
- Provide coaching lesson plans / resources for all REC and Competitive Coaches
- Offer Winter Coaching Education Opportunities
- Manage and grow the competitive summer program
- Provide additional opportunities for players
- Tie the organization into Rush National
- Bring Rush Executives to the area to meet with the local soccer board.
