THUNDER - BOYS 2013

RECAP OF THE SEASON

5th place CSL division 3

Thunder finished the season without a single loss in their final 4 games. The scores speak for themselves: Thunder started their season by playing the two top placed teams of this bracket with losses: 1-8 and 4-10. A month later, Thunder tied 3-3 and beat the other one 6-3! This is how much Thunder progressed this season. Hard work pays off. Great season Thunder!

COACH CHRISTELLE:
"Best memory is of course our game vs the 1st team place FC United Union. During our 2nd game of the season we lost to them 4-10. We played them at home a month later. The combination of the opponent thinking they will beat us and us thinking we have nothing to lose resulted in an amazing game from minute 1 to 60. At halftime it was 3-1 and we kept going, pushing to score 3 more goals and end the game with a 6-3 victory. We were able to change formations during the game which is never easy with younger players. The boys offered us a great show!"

EDGAR CORDOVA - HEAD COACH

Edgar has been coaching for 5 years and enjoys focusing on skill development. Edgar feels that communication AND respect within the team is priority. At every practice he lets the team know what is expected from them and to give 100% effort. He interacts with the kids when they do drills and/or play in a scrimmage. In his free time, Edgar enjoys outdoor activities, drawing, and doing projects. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
