
Marci's involvement in the soccer world began at the age of 5. She played for Conejo Valley United during her youth and was a goalkeeper in the Olympic Development Program. Her soccer talent earned her a scholarship to Marymount College, where she also began pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. This degree eventually led her to a career teaching physical education in the Conejo Valley School District. Marci later earned her teaching credential from Cal Lutheran University and has been a dedicated teacher for over 25 years.
With 11 years of coaching experience, Marci has worked with girls’ soccer teams ranging from ages 4 to 14. She currently coaches a 14U girls' tournament team and is leading a new team for NP Elite FC. In addition to her coaching role, Marci serves as a board member for several youth sports organizations in Newbury Park and is deeply passionate about youth sports. A respected figure in the community, she is known for her commitment to helping kids become the best version of themselves. Marci is also working toward her administrative credentials, with the goal of directing athletics at the high school level.
Marci’s coaching philosophy is centered around fun and positivity, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and passing. She is dedicated to helping each player grow in confidence, sportsmanship, and skill, while also fostering a love for soccer.
When she has free time, Marci enjoys walking, hiking, thrifting, and spending time with her two daughters.
