Marci has been involved in the soccer world since the age of 5. She played for Conejo Valley United in her youth and participated in the Olympic Development program as a goalkeeper. She earned a soccer scholarship to Marymount College where she began work in her Kinesiology Degree. This degree let her to teach physical education in the Conejo Valley School District. Marci then moved on to earn her teaching credential from Cal Lutheran University and has been teacher for the past 23 years.
Marci has been coaching for 10 years. she has experience coaching girls soccer from ages 4 through 14. she is currently coaching a 14U girl's tournament team in addition to taking on the newest team for NP elite FC. Marci serves as a board member on several youth sports organizations in Newbury Park and is very passionate about youth sports. she is a well known teacher in the community with a passion for helping kids be the very best version of themselves. she is currently working on her administrative credentials where she hopes to move in the direction of directing athletic at the high school level.
Marci has a fun and positive coaching philosophy that puts teamwork and passing at the forefront. She strives to grow each player in confidence, sportsmanship, and skill. Cultivating the LOVE of soccer is a top priority for her.
If she gets a chance to have some free time, she can be found walking or hiking. She also loves to thrift shop and hang with her two daughters.
