How much are registration fees?
Registration fees may vary based on the division your child will play. When applicable, an early-bird discount may also be available for a limited time once registration opens!

Does Citrus Heights Little League offer sibling discounts?
YES! There is a discount for siblings registered after the first player. Discount amounts may vary from season to season.
Does Citrus Heights Little League allow late registration or have a waiting list?
SOMETIMES. After registration has officially closed, players may be placed on a waitlist depending on the number of already registered players in that division AND the number of volunteers signed up to coach. We will notify you once your player is placed on a team, or in rare cases – if we are unable to place them on a team.
If my child does NOT get placed on a team from the waiting list, will I get a refund?
YES. Your registration fee will be refunded if you register late, your child was placed on a waiting list, and your child could not be assigned to a team.
Can I get a refund once the season starts?
NO. Once the season starts, we have already paid out fees to all necessary parties. Such as player insurance, field insurance, field permits, Little League fees, uniforms, etc. These fees cannot be reimbursed once they've been paid.

Can I request a certain coach or teammate?
You will be given the opportunity to make special requests during registration of your child. While we are able to accommodate the majority of special requests, we cannot guarantee all requests will be granted.
PLEASE NOTE: The upper division teams (FARM and above) are formed by a draft. We cannot guarantee the placement players with specific coaches and/or teammates (siblings are the only exception).
What is my child's "league age" and what does it mean?
A child’s “league age” is different than their true age. "League age" is the age of a player as of a specific date (August 31st), which determines the division they play in.

What does the registration fee include?
Your registration fee is applied toward park & field use permits, field maintenance, field insurance, player insurance, charter fees, team equipment (such as batter’s helmets, catcher’s gear, bats, balls, tees, pitching machines, etc.), volunteer background checks and live scan costs, and player uniforms, to name a few.
What items & equipment will I need to provide for my player?
- You are responsible for the pants, cups (males only), and cleats/turf shoes.
- Most families will also purchase helmets, bats and gloves. Each team will be provided with these items, however it is very limited.
Please talk to your team manager before purchasing any equipment. Depending one what division your player is in may change the type of some equipment needed.
The player uniforms provided by CHLL consists of one (1) hat, one (1) jersey, and one (1) little league patch (to be sewed onto the left arm sleeve of the jersey). During the spring season, we provide socks and belts as well.

Please wait before purchasing baseball pants. Once your child has been assigned to a team and uniform colors are determined - your team manager will instruct what color baseball pants are needed.
Does my child have to reside or go to school within Citrus Heights Little League's boundary?
YES. A player must reside or go to school within our boundaries.
Please CLICK HERE to check Little League Internationals "League Finder" site, to confirm whether your child resides within our boundary and is eligible to play in our league. Your child is also eligible if he/she is currently enrolled in a school within our boundary.
PLEASE NOTE: School Enrollment is the FASTEST & EASIEST route to clear this requirement!
