Summer 2024 Forest Hill Youth Tennis
Online Registration Starts April 8, 2024
June 17, 2024- July 23, 2024 (no lessons July 4)
Make- up classes due to weather cancellation may be scheduled from July 24-July 31
2024 Fees: $90 + online registration fee
This program is appropriate for all levels. Focus is on drills and having fun. Instructors are experienced Varsity high school tennis players. They have excellent skills to share and are motivating and fun, however, this is not tennis pro type instruction. Come learn, practice, and have fun!
5-8 Year old- All levels, starting with basic instruction and moving on with games and drills as players are ready; multiple instructors allows for different levels to be separated for safety and fun.
Beginner classes for age groups 9-12 and 13-16 will be on Monday and Wednesday. Goal of classes will be to learn basic strokes through drills and fun games/activities.
Intermediate classes for age groups 9-12 and 13-16 will be on Tuesday and Thursday. Goal of classes is to practice and improve basic strokes through drills/games, learn to serve, and learn how to score and play singles and doubles. Session will end with a tournament.
Monday and Wednesday
9:00am-9:50am 5-8 year olds -all levels
10:00am-10:50am 9-12 year olds - beginners
11:00am-11:50am 13-16 year olds- beginners
Tuesday and Thursday
9:00am-9:50am 5-8 year olds- all levels
10:00am-10:50am 9-12year olds- intermediate
11:00am-11:50am 13-16 year olds- intermediate
Make-ups will only be available if the entire class is cancelled due to rain or court repairs
Bring a racquet, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear tennis shoes to each class.
