WINTER SESSION STARTS NOV 7
(experienced fencers only, no beginners)

Winter 2024:  Nov 7 - December 19
(note: no practice on Tue. Nov 26 or Thr. Nov. 28)

Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm - 8:30pm

Practices will be at:
Forest Lakes Elementary School, Forest Hill

Next beginner session will be in March-April

Beginners age 12 through Adult:
(kids must be enrolled in 7th grade or higher)

Coach Greg Paye has been fencing for over 40 years. In 2001 he won 1st place at the USA Fencing Mid-Atlantic Men's Epee Championships, and today he occasionally competes in national Veteran competitions (age 40+). He is certified Prévôt d'Epee with the U.S. Fencing Coaches' Assocation, and has completed advanced coaching training with Polish Fencing Masters Zbigniew Czajkowski and Janusz Smolenski. His professional experience includes the McDonogh School (Director of Summer Fencing Program), Johns Hopkins University, Boston University, Boston Fencing Club, D.C. Fencers' Club, Baltimore Fencing Center, and Goucher College.

How to Sign Up for Fencing:

1. go to https://leagues.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1053183
2. If you do not have an account yet, click Register to create one
3.Login to the web site (Login button on upper right)
4. Select the option to sign up you or your child
5. You should see "Fencing" with a button to the right saying "View Divisions" -- click that button
6. You should see the details pop underneath with a button saying Select -- click that button
7. Now you should see a Continue button to the lower right -- click that
8. Fill in the information. Click View/Accept for Medical Release.
9. See your Order Summary. Click Continue and use a card for payment.

There is no option to register with cash or check. Registrations must be completed and paid for online.
