SCAA designed the 14U Select Baseball program to complement the goals and standards of our Little League program, emphasizing player development, sportsmanship, and competition. Players that participate in the Juniors or Seniors Little League program are eligible and the 2025 Spring Season is designed to allow players to participate in Middle School baseball and SCAA Juniors/Seniors Little League.  Register for the November tryouts below.

Tryouts are mandatory and selection is based on performance, skillset, and commitment. The number of players that tryout directly impacts the team selection process.  Players are encouraged to attend both try out sessions.  Register for the upcoming tryouts today!

Participation in the 14U Select program does not imply or assure participation in the spring postseason District Tournament (All-Stars). These programs are separate and have independent roster selection processes

Practices 
Practice schedules for the spring season will be determined following team selection but designed to allow players to play both Middle School baseball and participate in the Juniors/Seniors Little League program.  SCAA is working to design a winter training program for the 14U Select team with sessions beginning in December. More information to follow soon!

Tournaments
Tournaments typically consist of weekend (Saturday and Sunday) tournaments in the greater Charlotte area. There may be an opportunity for a tournament in Myrtle Beach/Pawley's Island in Spring 2025 (tentative).  We are aiming to play in up to five (5) tournaments during the spring season.

Cost
The cost for 14U Select team is currently being determined for spring. More information will be available at the tryouts. Our goal is to create a competitive and cost-effective program that benefits player development within SCAA.  Cost will be based on winter training, tournaments, uniform(s) cost, and additional training opportunities.
