ABOUT
Our SYA Cheerleading program brings energy, spirit, and teamwork to the sidelines of our flag football games! Designed for athletes of all experience levels, this program focuses on building confidence, learning cheers and basic routines, and supporting their teams in a fun and positive environment. Cheerleaders will develop friendships, school spirit, and leadership skills while being an important part of the game-day experience.

DETAILS
- Open to cheerleaders ages 5–14
- Teams (2–3) will be formed by age group based on final registration numbers
- Two practices per week (days, times, and locations TBD)
- Practices begin the second week of August
- Games are held Saturday mornings at Veterans Park (times TBD)
- Season begins in early September and runs for 9 weeks
- Cheerleaders will have opportunities to participate in fun community events, including town parades and high school football games
- Cheeleaders will receive a 3-piece uniform, hair bow, and warm-up suit
- Additional required items: white shoes, white socks, black long-sleeve shirt, and black leggings

UNIFORM DEPOSIT:
SYA provides uniforms and cheerleading equipment. SYA will collect a $50 uniform refundable deposit when the uniforms are distributed. The $50 in the form of a check or cash will be returned at the end of the season when the uniform and equipment is returned in good condition. Failure to return the unform or damage or stains to the uniform will result in forfeiture of the $50 deposit.

Registration costs:
- 5/1 - 5/31 $50
- 6/1 - 6/31 $60
- after 6/31 $80
