Superheros: Saving Planet Earth for Gr. 2-4
Superhero girls and boys soar off on a top-secret mission to save planet Earth using the most important superpower of all: imagination! Like Powerpuffs and Spider Boys, we'll design our own superhero masks, shields, and capes to protect our secret identities, and even build superhero sidekicks to accompany us as we save the world. Create recycled pots, build secret comic book boxes, and design colorful onomatopoeia drawings. During these fun and resourceful art experiences, Super Art Heroes create a variety of AMAZING an original works of art using natural, recycled and unconventional art forms and techniques. Color ceramic superhero banks and explore the art of printmaking while designing bubble wrap t-shirts. Both girls and boys will have a blast as members of the League of Super Art Heroes, saving the Earth with exciting and environmentally-conscious masterpieces.

Art-Ventures with Pirates and Fairies for Gr. K-1

Sail the high seas on a fantastical art-venture through a world of pirates and princesses, fairies, sea monsters and talking parrots! Children will get into character, donning handcrafted pirate swords or fairy wings. Paint wood rowboats and set out on a search for buried treasure, then create gem-studded treasure chests to hide the riches! Design magical castle banks and sculpt clay dragons to guard them. Draw sea monsters and create your own stenciled t-shirts! Pirates and Fairies explore painting, beading, fabric, clay art and more. Humorous stories are included each week, as well as surprises and laughter. Don't miss these fun and fantasy-filled workshops!

Tuesday, 4/16. Rainforest Tigers, Turtles and Toucans
Learn fun facts about turtles while painting and decoration ceramic turtle banks. Next, using colorful oil pastels create beautiful rainforest flowers. Then color tigers stained glass art forms and learn how to draw colorful and whimsical toucans.

Wednesday, 4/17. Alien Art-vasion
Young art-stronauts shoot for the stars in this outer space art-ventures! Sculpt wacky aliens with Model Magic clay, and build UFOs for them to fly in. Learn about symmetry while creating alien drawing based on the letters of your name. Then get a little messy concocting glittery galaxy play dough.

Thursday, 4/18. Cupcakes and Pizza Party Art-ventures
Get ready to whip up some artsy treats the look almost yummy enough to eat! Paint colorful ceramic cupcake bank and sculpt clay pizzas with all your favorite topping! Plus, design and decorate chef hats to wear in your own crafty kitchen.

Friday, 4/19. Superhero Art Blast Off!
Superhero girls and boys soar off on a top-secret mission to save planet Earth using the most important superpower of all: imagination! Create bean mosaic superhero masks to protect your secret identities, then blast off in super-duper spaceships built out of recycled materials. Plus, draw self-portraits of your heroic alter egos.
