Fundamental Summer Stick Frenzy: Field Hockey Clinic
Summer Field Hockey Clinic, where fun meets skill-building for kids entering grade 2 through 6! Join us for an exciting adventure on the field as we dive into the dynamic world of field hockey. Whether your child is a seasoned player or a curious beginner, our clinic is the perfect place to develop fundamental skills and foster a love for the game. From friendly scrimmages and exciting drills to creative challenges and games, every session is designed to keep participants active, engaged, and smiling from ear to ear. We prioritize creating a positive and inclusive environment. Alongside learning essential field hockey techniques, participants will also engage in team-building activities and communication exercises.
Whether your child is looking to hone their skills, make new friends, or simply try something new, our Summer Stick Frenzy is the place to be. Join us and know you will have a week of laughter, learning, and lots of field hockey fun!
Summer 2026 Program
Who: Beginner and experienced players entering grades 2-6
When: July 20-23 (raindate, Friday, the 24th)
Where: South Hadley High School Turf
Time: 9:00-11:00
Fee: $25
Advanced Summer Stick Frenzy: Field Hockey Clinic
This clinic is designed for experienced players, participants should have two or more years of game experience and feel confident in their dribbling ability, reverse stick control, and accurate push passing.
The clinic will emphasize small-group instruction to allow for focused skill development and individualized feedback. Players will work on advancing their technical and tactical play through training in 3D skills, drives and sweeps, and level-two dodges; helping them build the tools needed for more competitive game situations.
Athletes who are looking for additional stick time are welcome to participate in both the Fundamental Skills Clinic and the Advanced Clinic if desired. This allows players to reinforce fundamental skills while also challenging themselves with higher-level techniques.
